Training for future translators specialising in technical translation. To review the fundamental basics of the English language in order to specialise in technical translation. To know how to use translation tools in the English-French language pair, in the field of technical translation. 

Expected results after the course:

To acquire a translation methodology, by mastering Computer Assisted Translation tools. Understand good practices in the field of translation. To be operational at the end of the course and to start translating in a professional context.

1. Review of the trainee's initial level by MCQ test and interview

2. Review of grammatical and syntactic knowledge

3. English/French translation processes. General knowledge

4. Methodology and translation tools (Wordfast, Deepl Pro …)

5. Case study of applied translation English/French technical fields

6. Test of knowledge of syntax, grammar and translation methodology

7. Training before the final official level test

8. Training review and post-training advice

A training certificate will be delivered after a final test.
